Alcohol is a leading cause of injuries and especially road traffic injuries in low and middle income countries. Understanding the increased risk of injury due to alcohol is important in order to gain momentum for funding to focus on alcohol regulation and prevention services. Therefore, we tested alcohol amongst injury patients at Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Center in Moshi, Tanzania. Enrollment closed at 525 patients, Data analysis in process and manuscripts are being developed.
