Sarah joined DGNN to challenge herself and to be apart of a group that reduces inequity and improve lives. She wanted to learn the most she could at Duke and DGNN offered her the ability to do that with leaders in the field from both the U.S. and abroad.

Sarah successfully defended my master’s thesis on epilepsy prevalence in Uganda in March 2020 and hopes to publish this work soon.
