Cyrus was named the 2019 Duke Global Health Institute Madeline Boccuzzi Graduate Student Of The Year and will begin his neurosurgical residency at Barrow Neurological Institute in 2020. He is currently working on projects involving predictive analytics in low to middle income countries and believes that DGNN offers one of the few opportunities to work at the intersection of neurosurgery and global health. He is happy to be part of a highly motivated, experienced group that promotes individual and team learning while pursuing their mission.
